Charlie Pickett - Guitar & Vocals
Charlie Pickett started his rock career in the 80’s as the lead gunslinger in iconic South Florida line-ups including The Eggs and the MC3. Rolling Stone Magazine recently described a just-released anthology of Charlie’s music as “hard labor and country-garage gunfire,” a “brawling-roots mix of Johnny Thunders, Sun Records and trailer-park Lou Reed,” “a rattle ‘n’ smack that now sounds raucously prescient, like a long-lost high-time link between the Replacements and the Drive-By Truckers.” The Revelators begin - and the legend continues. Chris DeAngelis - Bass & Vocals
Chris DeAngelis is the quirky songwriting brain behind the catalog of infectiously melodic, hook-laden pop tunes addressing the issues of our times - cannibalism, worms, puppets, alien abduction, automobile accidents and the desire to blow things up – put out by The Avenging Lawnmowers of Justice. Chris is also the co-founder of one of Miami’s most entertaining bands, The 18 Wheelers. Blending elements of roots rock, honky-tonk country, western swing, rockabilly, and bluegrass, The Wheelers cover all the topics of the country genre – driving a big rig across the country, losing your girl, getting drunk, going to jail, and disappointing your mama. Henk Milne - Guitar & Vocals
Henk Milne is a veteran of a string of rock bands in the UK and the US - most notably alt-rockers, Perfect Strangers, and Celtic rockers, The Volunteers. Henk started playing and writing rock music in Miami in the early 80’s and is currently the third “Jack” in the Miami-based Celtic rock band The Three Jacks where he is the band's frontman, chief rabble-rouser and owner of a voice that is, says Miami's New Times, "to traditional rock vocals as Guinness is to Coors Light." Alexander Milne - Drums
Alexander Milne – a/k/a “El Torito” – “The Little Bull” - is the youngest musician in The Revelators. Alexander started reading music and studying the piano at the age of seven and developed a deep and eclectic range of taste in music from The Clash and AC/DC to Willy Nelson and Gilbert & Sullivan, with a heavy emphasis on the classics (namely The Beatles & The Stones). While learning the drums, Alexander apprenticed as a roadie in various line-ups involving his dad, Henk, helping shift gear backstage at various venues in the U.S. and Latin America. The lure of the limelight proved irresistible and Alexander, debuting on drums, is now front-of-stage, laying down the jack-hammer pulse of The Revelators.
